Privacy
Small service. Small data footprint.
CalendarJack connects to GroupMe only after you approve it on GroupMe. We store your GroupMe access token in encrypted form so the calendar can update. We never see or store your GroupMe password.
What is stored
Your GroupMe account identifier, an encrypted access token, the identifier and name of each group you chose, and a recent cache of that group's events. The cache can contain event titles, times, descriptions, and locations.
Who can see a calendar
Anyone with a calendar's private link can read that calendar. Calendar providers such as Apple, Google, or Microsoft receive the link when someone subscribes. Keep it inside the group. The organizer can turn off an old link at any time.
Deletion
The organizer can delete a calendar or disconnect the account from the calendars page. Disconnecting deletes the encrypted token, every calendar, cached events, and active sessions.
